I am not sure who was more excited about the car game - Hunter or Daddy? Hunter's legs were too short to reach the pedal, so Jonathan had to push his pedal and Hunter's pedal.
This ball toss game was one of Hunter's favorite game. He kept trying to toss the ball overhand instead of underhand resulting in the ball going no where near the target.
Papa even tried to show him how to toss the ball the correct way, but he preferred his way. There were several times the ball hit the wall or went in another lane.
Katelyn loved riding the horse.
At first she didn't like it when the Barney Train started to move.
Hunter taking his turn on the Barney Train.
I love how Hunter has his arm around Katelyn.
Saturday evening the celebration continued. We opened presents and had cake. My sister made this awesome cake out of marshmallow fondant.
They got a pinata for the kids. There was no place to hang it, so Boog had to hold it.
Hunter's turn
Lynde's turn
Epic's turn
Lynde finally broke open the pinata.
The kids with their birthday glasses. Katelyn had a pair too, but she kept taking them off.
Blowing out the candles
Cake time
Instead of cake Katelyn got to have a cookie. I think this was the first she had her very own cookie. She didn't like biting into it, but once I broke it up for her she gladly ate it all.
A happy birthday boy.
When we weren't celebrating the girls enjoyed reading books with Mimi.
Mimi and Papa got Epic and Hunter the "Read and Share Bible" It is Hunter's favorite book. Every night we have to read about Joseph.
