The Saturday before Easter we attended the community Easter egg hunt. The hunt wasn’t very well organized, and by the time we realized that Hunter was supposed to be hunting eggs the same time as Katelyn all of the eggs were gone. Luckily he was able to hunt eggs with the older kids, but they were so fast I wasn’t able to get a picture of him.
Katelyn hunting eggs
That afternoon we dyed eggs. This was the first year it wasn’t totally chaotic.
Halfway through Hunter realized the neighbor kids were outside playing and he was done. Katelyn gladly dyed the rest of his eggs for him.
Our final project of the day was resurrection rolls. The kids enjoyed having them for breakfast Easter morning.
The Easter Bunny left a few treats and even hid a few eggs inside since it rained during the night.
So excited to wear her new Easter dress.
It is next to impossible to get Hunter to take serious picture these days.
We had Easter lunch with the Hiseys at our house. The cousins had fun looking for eggs.
