Hunter Turns 4

Hunter turned four Nov. 1.  This was the first year his birthday had fallen in the middle of the week.   This year we decided to have his birthday party the weekend after his birthday.  The previous three years we had celebrated the same weekend of Halloween and it had always been a bit crazy.

He loved his new Cars 2 shirt.

As soon as he unwrapped the shirt he asked for a hanger.  He then went to his room and found his other Cars t-shirt and hung the shirts beside each other.

He loved his new bike.

We had cupcakes on his actual birthday. The following weekend I made a Cars cake for his party. The Friday before his birthday he fell asleep in the car. When we got to our destination he hopped out of the car and ran across the street. I don't think he was fully awake because he tripped over the driveway and scraped his nose. He had a big nasty scab. Then on his birthday he fell off his bike and scraped his nose again! It took several weeks for it to heal.
