September

September marked Hunter's 22nd month. Last month Hunter made the transition from a crib to a twin bed and now loves to sleep in his choo choo bed. He also spent the night at Grammee and Grandpa's house so Jonathan and I could attend an OSU game. Towards the end of the month we took advantage of the cooler weather and visited the zoo and the state fair.

Watching a little TV and waking up from his nap.

Trying out Daddy's shoes

Hunter loves to clean and often runs to the pantry and request a cleaning rag. He then runs around the house dusting. Sometimes he even steals wipes from the container so he can clean his baby.

Checking out the gorillas.

Hunter has started to remember and name people outside of the family. He loves his church friends. He is especially fond of Miss. G. and loves to give her "big hugs and kisses". He even talks about her when she is not around.

He appears to be thinking about giving her a big kiss.

We visited Agtropolis at the state fair. Hunter was very interested in the baby chicks.

Discovering wool

The tractor displays were of course one of his favorite exhibits. He had to test drive several of them.

We also checked out the new vehicles.

The petting zoo was a big hit with Hunter. We actually ended up visiting it twice since it was near the gate we entered.

I thought he might be afraid of the animals, but we didn't even have to encourage him to pet them.

He wasn't too sure about putting his head in the hole, but after Jonathan demonstrated he finally decided it was okay.

Where's the picture of Jonathon with his head in the hole at the petting zoo?
