19 Months

June 1 Hunter turned 19 months old and his obsession with trucks and puzzles continued. He spends most of his time moving all his vehicles from one location to the next. He can easily become frustrated if a truck is not in the right spot. When he isn't playing with his trucks then you will likely find him doing a truck puzzle or requesting to watch a truck video. This past month he has started to say phrases and he continues to frequently add new words to his vocabulary. At this point it is hard to remember everything he can say, but here are some things you might hear if you were to spend a day with Hunter.

Phrases
Dada's truck, Dada lawn mower, Dada Paint, Dada Work, Dada's Juice,
Mama Cook, Mama's Car, and Mama Pee Pee (and of course he likes to shout this out in public restrooms)
Dada/Mama shoes, shirt, etc.
Shoes Walk, Car Bye Bye
Oh bus, Oh Mama, Oh Truck, etc.
What's that?

Transportation Words
Choo Choo, tractor, bus, hot truck (fire truck), truck(s), bulldozer, dump truck, digger, wheel, bike

Food Words
Milk, juice, cracker, strawberry, cheese, cookie, water, hot dog, peas, ketchup, gold fish

Playing with his trucks. He is holding his bus, which is by far his favorite vehicle.

Helping Mommy garden

He likes to have his own bowl and spoon while I cook. Here he discovered that raw potatoes aren't very tasty.

Hunter loved riding his truck until he pulled the steering wheel out for the second time. The truck is waiting to repaired and now when he sees it he says "broke truck".

He sure loved riding on that truck. I hope it's fixed soon!
