When I was a child we almost always spent Easter at my Grandmother's in Colorado, but now that we live so far away we seldom visit. So this year we decided to drive 560 miles (one-way) to visit her and the rest of the family. Luckily my parents live halfway so we were able to break the drive up into two days. This time we finally broke down and bought a DVD player, which helped keep Hunter entertained. Overall the trip went well, although it may be a while before we attempt to travel that far with him again.

Hunter has always been a good sleeper, unless we are away from home. The first couple of nights he spent part of the night on sleeper sofa with us.

Napping in the car is also a challenge. I bought him a toddler neck roll, but that only seemed to make it more difficult for him to sleep.

I was surprised how well Hunter did eating at the table. At home he is always tipping over his plate and throwing his food.
He loved riding the horsey, but didn't understand that he needed to stop sucking his thumb so he could hold on.

We were in a hurry to get to church and were having a hard time getting Hunter to stop sucking his thumb, so needless to say we didn't end up with that great of picture.

Instead of cooking Easter dinner, we all went out this year.
