A month ago I attended a couponing class and learned that with a little work you can save a ton of money. In fact I often get stuff for free. Well I actually have to pay the tax on the item. Apparently the government doesn’t issue coupons. :)
The holidays are quickly approaching and that means lots of yummy baked goods. Homeland Grocery Store is having a sale on many holiday staples and there are several online coupons that correspond with the sales. The great thing about Homeland is they double most coupons up to a dollar. Therefore if you have a 50 cent coupon you get a $1.00 off and a $1.00 off coupon would result in $2.00 off. Make sure to look at the fine print on the coupon, because some of them state “DO NOT DOUBLE.”
The coupons you will need can be found on the Nestles and Coupon.com site. If you refresh your screen you can print a second coupon.
Visit Homeland from Wednesday, Oct. 22 thru Tuesday Oct. 28 and get the following deals.
LIBBYS'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin is on sale for $1.00. Use your Save $1.00 on any TWO (2) cans coupon. The coupon should double to $2.00, which means you can get two cans of pumpkin (plus tax) for FREE.
NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk is on sale for $1.00. Use your Save $1.00 on any TWO (2) cans coupon and get two cans for FREE.
NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels are on sale for $2.00. Use your save 0.75¢ on any one package coupon. The coupon should double to $1.50, which means you pay only $0.50.
C&H Sugar (4lbs) is $2.00 a package. Use 0.55¢ coupon off of any two bags. It should double to $1.10, which means you get two bags for $2.90 or $1.45 each.
There are many more deals this week in the Homeland’s Weekly flyer.
In theory everything I posted should work as stated, but I am still learning all the ins and outs of couponing so there is a small chance that an item may not actually end up being free. However it still should be dirt cheap!
Happy Holiday Baking!
