Founder's Day

Piedmont's Founder's Day Celebration was this past weekend. There was a parade, commercial vendors, activities for the kids and lots of yummy food. Jonathan and I were particularly fond of the fried oreos. It was basically an oreo with donut/funnel cake batter on the outside.

Hunter asked to go down the inflatable slide. I thought he would get scared and not climb up the ladder, but I was wrong. He quickly got to the top and didn't hesitate before sliding down.

Jim Gardner was the parade marshall. Right before the parade started he flew over the crowd and landed in a nearby field.
