Papa Time

In April my Dad visited my sister. I decided to be brave and take my first road trip alone with the kids so we could see him. I was very happy that it ended up being an uneventful drive. Hunter watched his DVDs and Katelyn slept most of the way. Hunter even surprised me and took a nap on the way home.

I caught Katelyn sucking her thumb.

At first Hunter didn't like their puppy Sprinkles, so he wouldn't get off the couch. By the end of the trip he was dragging her all over the place.

Not a big fan of the trampoline either.

Hunter is obsessed with Thomas. As soon as I told him we were going to Aunt Nici's he started talking about Thomas. When we got there he quickly found Thomas and then he carried the train around all weekend. He even had to put it in a special place before he went to bed.

One day it rained, so we took the kids to an inside play area.

Waiting to get into the Rainforest Cafe. Hunter loved the restaurant so much that he wanted to go back the next day.

We had to wait awhile to get into the restaurant. Hunter hadn't been interested in eating lunch and hadn't had much of a snack that day. Needless to say he was starving by dinner. When our food finally arrived Lynde's friend was missing the top of her bun so we asked for another one. That is before we realized that Hunter had reached across Epic and snatched it. This isn't the first time he has done something like this either. The boy loves bread! He really is a carb junkie so I have to make a point to keep any type of bread out of arms reach or he will help him self.

Even though he doesn't look like it. Epic really wanted to hold Katelyn.
