13 Months
Hunter discovered the joy of climbing this month. He now climbs onto the hearth and tries to get the stockings or tries to climb into the fireplace. We had an accident the other day when he decided to climb onto the TV stand shelf and then jump out of it. He landed on his face which caused him to bite his lower lip. Of course this all happened five minutes before we supposed to leave for Jonathan's work Christmas party. Luckily he only ended up with a fat lip. He is starting to communicate with us more by gesturing and making sounds (i.e. screaming). He has added several more words to his vocabulary - ball, meow, and truck. It is fun to see him start to understand more and associate things with certain activities. For example now when I put his shoes on him he will go to the garage door and gesture to open the door. Unfortunately he will not keep his shoes on. When we picked him up from the church nursery last week they told us he had kept taking his shoes off. I lost count of how many times he kicked them off today at Wal-Mart.

Obviously not pleased that someone would disturb him why he was eating cheese.
