Grandpa John's Birthday

Saturday we visited Grammie and Grandpa Hisey. It had been ages since we had been to their house, because it seems like the entire month of February everyone was sick. Saturday evening we met some more family members in Enid for dinner and to celebrate Grandpa John's birthday, which was March 10.

Hunter's cousin Caroline is 8 months old and was very excited to see him. She kept leaning towards him and screaming, which was very upsetting to Hunter. Every time she would scream he would have a complete meltdown and start crying hysterically.

I had to wake Hunter up from his late afternoon nap so that I could feed him before going to town. This of course meant that he was beyond sleepy by the time dinner started. He was not very interested in anyone besides Mommy or Daddy holding him. He luckily took a little nap during dinner, and was in a better mood when he woke up.

A few months ago, I bought Hunter a shirt that says "Grandpa's Right Hand Man." Now that he can fit into it, we have been making sure to take a snapshot of Hunter wearing the shirt with his grandpas.
